Enough With The Rain Already!

At the Timeraiser a few weeks ago, I had several people ask me if I have any similar paintings to the one being auctioned off, in case they don’t win it. At the time I didn’t have one, however since then I’ve created one. So here it is!

As always, I started with a background using a palette knife.

I sketched the background buildings and the reflections using some chalk then painted those in. Also, I added a couple under an umbrella and 2 lampposts in the middle panel.

And finally we have a finished painting.

I’ll be totally honest… I’m sick of painting people in the rain. I feel like I’ve done so many variations of it so I’m gonna give it a rest for awhile. Let’s recap:

Yeah, that's a lot of rain!
Yeah, that’s a lot of rain!

So if you are interested in that last “couple in the rain” painting, it’s available either on Etsy or in my online store on this website. As always, shipping is free (within North America).
