I Love You

Sometimes, a client will have a fabulous idea and I simply make it come to life for them.

Before Christmas, a friend of mine contacted me to do a commissioned painting for her boyfriend. She wanted an abstract painting of a soundwave that she recorded of herself saying ‘I Love You‘.

Based off of this, she decided on the color scheme of reds and browns for the background and black and grey for the actual sound waves. We picked a size, 36×24″, and I got to work.

Over top of this, I added the sound wave. To get a finished painting.

And that’s all there was to it!

If you need a good gift idea for someone special, (maybe for Valentine’s Day?) consider doing a painting like this. Even if you’ve never painted before, this one is probably doable. Or, contact me and I’ll gladly help you out 🙂

I think this is such a marvelous and unique gift for someone who likes abstract art since only the two of you will actually know what the sound waves represent, and that’s pretty special. Also, each person’s sound wave recording will be different so no two paintings will look alike.
